For over 25 years I have been designing entire book projects and covers. These have crossed both retail and eductional markets in the majority of The Caribbean and several African countries. Many design commisions enabled me to meet and work with the author directly as well as the publisher themselves. I’ve got to know some great people through this exciting sector from photographers in Canada to Caribbean fashion models, from Jamaican fine artists to Cuban culinary food researchers.

As well as the range of eductional books created for schools over the years my most recent involvement for the education sector has been with Planet Water Foundation. My approach has always been the same – develop fresh but professional material which inspires and reflects the unique ethos of the project to generate a strong and effective identity. The examples that are displayed here were developed for Planet Water’s educational programme to partner its water tower installations in the most rural and poorest communities our world knows today. This was also translated into 8 other languages. The water drop character, named ‘Droplet’ was created to support the teaching exercises for the children and has become a well-loved icon.
